Wujin holds the long humanity tradition with a galaxy of talents. Changzhou University Town will be set up in 2005 in Wujin, into which 7 senior technological colleges will be moved. State-level Taihu Lake Tourism and Vacation Site is a typical scenic resort in South Jiangsu province. In 1994, Wujin is listed on the state's agenda for the 21st century as a priority development project and is granted as the Sustainable Development Model District for Town Construction in China.
